Essay/MPT (Tues.): Includes 10 essay questions. Seven essays are administered in the morning and three essays are administered in the afternoon along with the MPT. MBE (Wed.): 200 multiple choice questions

Passing score-- a total score of 406 or higher
MBE raw score is the number of questions answered correctly. MBE raw scores are scaled.
Written Test raw score is calculated as follows: Written Test raw score = Sum of Board's Essay test raw scores + (MPT raw score x 2)
Written Test raw score is converted to MBE scale
To calculate total scaled score, both the MBE and Written Test scaled scores will be rounded to the nearest whole number.
